Solstice Watercolor Session (Postponed)
Class to be rescheduled due to predicted extreme temperatures! Stay tuned for a new date.
Solstice Morning Watercolor Session
Francis Park, St. Louis City
Tuesday, June 21st
9 am – 11 am
Join us in Francis Park the morning of the solstice to paint the landscape! We’ll meet first to get started; participants will then have the option of sticking with the instructor for step by step instruction, or for independent painting with intermittent feedback. We’ll meet again at the end of the session to look at the work we’ve made!
For all skill levels.
Location and additional details will be sent after registering.
Class fee includes a few basic supplies:
Watercolor paint postcard (primary colors), 2 brushes, 3 sheets of watercolor paper, and a cup for water. These basics have you covered for this class, but feel free to bring additional supplies if you’d like, such as tape, masking fluid, extra paint, etc.
Please note there will not be any seating supplied. Francis Park has some seating available – picnic tables, benches, etc – or you can bring a blanket to paint on the ground (that’s what your instructor will do!) Easels are optional but truly not necessary. Restrooms will be available nearby.
Don’t forget to bring drinking water and sun/bug protection!
Session will be rescheduled if the weather is bad; refunds available.
